My research in AGI focuses on what these hyper-advanced systems would mean for nations, companies, geopolitics, and the broader power dynamics of national and economic security across several key areas. At the same time, estimates range for when and even if AGI will come online, for example, in the next few years, to never. That’s pretty large.

Based on my observations in the industry, we are closer than further away from achieving AGI. Now is an optimal time to begin research, planning, and preparation in the private and public sectors to see what AGI would mean in specific regions, industries, and use cases.
